Subscribing to the Gardens
Subscriptions cost £130 per annum for a household key
PROPRIETORS
Owners of properties on 1-19 Heriot Row, 17-38 Queen Street, and properties in 116 & 118 Hanover Street, 63 & 65 Frederick Street, and 1 Howe Street fronting the Gardens, are proprietors of the Gardens. Our catchment area.
Eligibility Households applying for a key to the gardens must be located within the catchment area, as outlined on the map.
Broadly, this includes all properties between Fettes Row in the North; Dundonald Street, Dublin Street, and North St Andrew Street in the East; George Street in the South; and Frederick Street, Howe Street, and St Vincent Street in the West.
If you do not reside within this catchment area, your application for a key cannot be considered.

New Subscribers: How to Subscribe
The annual subscription for membership to Queen Street Gardens Central is currently £130.00. Additionally, all new subscribers must pay a £100 deposit for their key.
New subscriber applications are managed via WebCollect, with subscriptions payable through recurring annual direct debits. The "subscription year" starts on the date of the establishment of the recurring direct debit. Setting up a direct debit is a subscription requirement.
DEPOSIT
There is a £100 deposit for keys. If you lose your key, please be aware that you will also forfeit your deposit. This reflects the cost of replacing the key and the related administration cost.
Having a key does not automatically grant the right to bring a dog into the gardens.
Note you can only buy a subscription to the Central Gardens through this website.
If you live to the west of Frederick St/ Howe Street you are not in our catchment area but may subscribe to the West Gardens. contact: qsgwest@cowiesburn.co.uk

Keys
Keys for new subscribers will be posted or delivered within seven days of payment. Please note that keys will only be issued to addresses within the catchment area.
Your numbered security key(s) remain the property of the Central Gardens. Keys must not be passed to new property owners or tenants. They must apply for Gardens membership in their own right.
If you choose not to renew your subscription, you should return your key to the Gardens Administration at 11 Heriot Row EH3 6HP, on or shortly after the renewal subscription date and request the return of your deposit. Deposits will be returned within 14 days of receipt of the key.
Dogs
Dogs are welcome, but the number of dogs allowed is limited, and there is currently a lengthy waiting list. We are sorry but we are not accepting any more dogs onto the waiting list for the time being. Having a key does not automatically grant the right to bring a dog into the gardens.
The annual charge for each dog is £40. Subscribers are required to register the name and breed of their dog with the Gardens Commissioners. The Commissioners reserve the right to refuse to grant access to a dog. Please refer to the garden rules page for more information.
